The Revelation Church of God and Dr S. B Radebe Foundation held a successful and fun-filled health walk in Zimbabwe in a show of solidarity and unity on October 26, 2019. The thrill of it all is in one hour of the branch’s most successful decade when it topped the healthy walks ratings, despite that not much has changed in the country since Zimbabwean nation went through a hyper-inflationary period with the worsening price changes on basic food items
Tens of thousands of RCG members and people from all walks of life took part in the peaceful march, painting blue the Zimbabwean City of Bulawayo, which started from Bulawayo Stadium to International Fair Trade Centre. The Dr. S. B Radebe Foundation held the colourful annual health march to demand an end to black- on- black violence, including rape and killing of women and children (femicide), among others when Africa took its leading position in reconstruction and development as expected.
The commander for the Zimbabwean RCG branches Mholi Nkululeko , civil society leaders and government officials led the annual health walks intended to raise the profile of healthy lifestyles. The march similarly turned into a volunteer clean-up activities to support the local environmental pollution anti-littering action to make a difference and resolve problems related to widespread dirt and grime in the city.
RCG branch leader and international traditional healer’s practitioner association in Africa addressed the rally and prayed for the country to go past its difficult moments.
The fun-filled day offered light-hearted games among loads of entertainment for families and children’s other pleasure activities. These included indigenous music and stage dancing from a repertoire of iconic cultural and magical performing artists and musicians.
This event concluded Africa’s continental heritage month themed: “restoration, reclaiming and celebrating our living heritage.”
